We Just Might Get Through This

Okay, so here we are.  A little over a day before our second match of the World Cup, and we are now slight favorites to make it out of our group!  Spain and England have both been eliminated.  Jozy Altidore will not be playing for us.  How big is that?  Well, I knew his name even before he grabbed his hammy against Ghana.

To give you an idea of how big that is, here is the list of names I know in soccer:

Jozy Altidore (obviously, I just said so)
Landon Donovan (who's not on the team)
Beckham (not an American, and his first name is not Benditlike)
Pele (I'm old)
Messi (Who I actually thought was Nessi but not in a lake in Scotland)

Hey, America!  There's World Cup Soccer Tournament about to begin.  FIFA, the governing body for International soccer cares as much about the US as we do about soccer, so they've ceded us with Germany, Ghana, and Portugal.  These are games we will be lucky to not lose.

Game 1 Monday 6/16 at 6-  wow three 6's!  What does that tell you?
